Join Skye for a Sound bowl offering at Devils Hole Grotto; an almost landlocked lagoon. Devils Hole was Bermuda's first natural aquarium, connected to the ocean by a tidal underwater passage.
The Sapphire Veil is a space to receive soft vibrations from Sound Bowls while we watch the sky shift into dusk, as the moon and stars rise. We will listen to the natural frequencies of Crystal Singing bowls and nature's orchestra of tree frogs and crickets.
Come to visit the ancient turtles that glide amongst the tides, and enjoy some tea and turtle feeding around the lagoon as darkness falls over this beautiful space.

What are Sound Bowls?:
Singing bowls are sound healing instruments; made from quartz crystal (heated at high temperatures to form a bowl) or made from metals such as bronze or brass. Crystal singing bowls emit a clear and resonant sound that carries smoothly over water and metal bowls are used commonly in body work.
Quartz has piezoelectric properties, meaning it can transform energy and vibrates in a very stable, precise way (this is why it’s used in watches and electronics). This stability is believed to enhance the effectiveness of sound healing.
When the bowls are struck or played with a mallet around the rim, they produce a sustained, vibrating tone. The sound can be felt in the body as vibration.

Location: Devils Hole Lagoon (92 Harrington Sound Rd, Smiths, Bermuda)
Parking is on the first right up Devils Hole Hill. You will enter the Lagoon via the white door from the parking lot.
What should I expect?:
Doors will be open at 6:50 and will lock by 7:15. Please be on time or slightly early to respect everyone's time and energy.
You will be greeted and invited into the Lagoon to observe the turtles and find a spot on the surrounding land. You will have time to move around and get comfortable before we sink into the space and receive some sound therapy.
After an hour of sound bowls, the underwater lights will illuminate the space! You will be invited to have warm tea and join in feeding the turtles dinner.
Notes for the experience:
Please wear something cooling, comfortable and lightweight.
This experience will take place on the land and bridges surrounding the Devils Hole Grotto. We will not be swimming or floating in the lagoon, out of respect for our Green Turtles and their space!

Weather Policy
This is an outdoor, weather-permitting experience.
If we need to cancel due to weather, you will be contacted and given the option to reschedule your session at no extra cost.
If rescheduling isn’t possible, we’ll provide a full refund.
We’ll do our best to notify you at least 2 hours in advance if weather conditions require cancellation.
Cancellation Policy
If you need to cancel, please do so at least 24 hours before your scheduled experience to receive a full refund.
Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice are not eligible for a refund, as your space has already been reserved.
