🌱 Build Your Own Herb Spiral Workshop 🌱
Join us for a hands-on workshop in the beautiful Dye & Fibre Arts Garden at our neighborhood education partner, Masterworks Museum. This workshop is perfect for anyone curious about gardening—no prior experience needed!
We’ll start by introducing the basics of permaculture, a way of gardening that works with nature, not against it. You’ll discover the simple ethics and principles that guide this approach.
Next, you’ll learn about the Herb Spiral—a creative, space-saving design inspired by natural patterns. Herb spirals are great for small spaces and city gardens, offering benefits like:
Making the most of vertical space
Creating sunny, shady, and moist spots for different herbs
Attracting pollinators and boosting biodiversity
Requiring less effort for greater harvests
After exploring these ideas, you’ll roll up your sleeves and help build and plant a real herb spiral right there in the garden! You’ll leave not only with new knowledge and skills, but also a FREE take-home herb spiral plan to try in your own space.
This workshop is brought to you through a collaboration between The AgraLiving Institute and Jonathan Lightbourne from Nature’s Compass.
🌿 Come connect with nature, grow your gardening confidence, and take home the inspiration to start your own herb spiral! 🌿
